I was having problem with asp file and local host.But dotnet files were working perfectly. So iremove IIS and then install IIS.After that i register ASP.dllfile and then install .NET Framework. Now i am able to open the local host as well as the ASP files also. But during this operation all the configured default web sites are lost.
