Hi!
i'm having the same prob. u see my counter strike and all other half life games are refusing to work. they give this "hl.exe error".
i think it has something to do with the directx 9.0c...i have 9.0b.
i read ur post...i think u can help me unless the computer crashes (i don't want that as i have just recently got it formatted)
i've downloaded the 9.0c redist files. but i'm confused which one...Leave a comment:
