i have a couple of questions.They are
1. what kind of signal is send when a key is pressed in a keyboard to the cpu of a pc ?
2.Is it possible to write a vb.net code which represents pressing a key in the keyboard of a pc? if yes write me the code,plz?

i think u did not get my question. First , i am doing a project in hand gesture recognition in vb.net environment.I interfaced a video camera to my pc and the out put of my video camera( the hand gesture made by the user in the view of the camera) is fed to my pc . So far i am eable to aquire live video data to my .net form and capture an image from that live video now i want to calculate the centroid pixel of the hand and the centroid... -

To start form the begining i am doing a project on gesture recognition.So far i am able to aquire a live video from a webcam and take some images from that live video that apppear in my form . Now, what i am left with is : i need a vb.net code which comes up with the number of color pixels of the image so that i will recognize which gesture it is.
