I am doing a simple application using ajax which wil fetch time from server to a javascript function.
i have one html file and one asp page.
In the html page i have two text boxes by name 'username' and 'time'.
The functionality intended to implementd is when you type somethin on the username textbox the server time should come on the time textbox without page reload.

Before building a web service, a virtual directory or web application must be created using IIS. depending on the selected value of another combobox,right?

store the selected value in a variable.

I use asp.net for online application development..I use c# as the language.
now I wanna know if i can do the same with struts..whether the concepts are same or struts are entirely different?
