    Yeah that sounds about right. With XP-Pro the security isn't allowing me to write files to where the cgi.exe wants to so it gives back a header error. This is why it works on Win2k because it lacks the security? ok...

    There is a database that it reads and writes to. When I take out this (write to logfile.txt) in the C++ program it appears to work. So yes you are right with your statement. I just lack the knowledge on where to go from...

    Running cgitest.exe in IIS 5.1

    I am trying to run a C++ cgi file ".exe" on my Windows XP-Pro IIS 5.1. Running this on a windows 2000 Pro seems to work. But not XP or 2003 Server.

    I get the following:
    CGI Error
    The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers. The headers it did return are:
