    is there any driver level difference between oracle 8i and 9i

    hi all,

    I am facing a very strange problem; i have an C++ component which was working fine with the oracle 8i. but now i have upgraded my oracle to 9i and i have compiled that one with 9i libraries. every thing is working fine but the component is not logging debug messages to the table.
    Also i am not getting any error regarding connection. with 8i this thing was working fine. So guys please tell me what could be the problem....

      I need help in getting the port number used by a db2 instance in AIX installation of DB2 8.0.1.
      Is there any command to know this.
