  • Thanks Sierra. Its quite a tall order but I'm trying it out. Having loads of difficulties but I think I am getting thorough. Yes it would have really been better in access but these are files that were already created in microsof excel for the past six years so this confusion is all i have to work with.

  • Searching Multiple Excel Files & Printing Report in MS Access-Is this possible?

    Hello Guys,

I have a challenge here and would really appreciate some help. I have customer bills that are all done in excel with a template and stored in directories by month order. At the end of the month or periodically, I need to query and print a report giving customer name, account number, date of service and cost for a particular service/item for all customers who received such a service/item (at times up to 300 customer bills...

Hmmm, I basically created the form using the Access Wizard feature for creating this form, then I tried saved it on the server in the same directory where the actual database is stored. I then put a link to the form on the desktop and clicked on that then got the error. I also tried to run it directly from the directory adn I also got the name error....

    Hello guys

I created a web access data form for a database (Access 2000). However, I notice that when I open it in Internet Explorer, all the fields return #name? What could be the problem?

  • Three year Access Query for Accounts Receivable

    Hello Guys,

I have a problem that has to do with Aging Accounts Receivable.

I have three tables with customer account numbers, customer names, customer balances for the years 2003, 2004 and 2005. I need to build a query that will provide the account numbers, names and balances for customers who only appear in the 2004 table and another for those who only appear in 2005. Bear in mind that there are customers whos name...

Ok Nico and all you other guys you would never believe what worked. I typed in the criteria field for year 2003 "Is Not Null And [Table_2004.Bala nce]" and then in the criteria field for 2004 "Is Not Null And [Table_2005.Bala nce]" and voila! I got the results. Thank you again. I really appreciated the suggestions....

Thanks Nico. I already have that query sorted out to display the results for all three years. However, what I am having difficulties with is to now have only customers with similar balances for all three years displayed instead of every single customer. That is, if customer a has $200 as a balance in all three years, I want to see him displayed in my query. Anyfurther ideas?...

Three year similar value access query

    Hello guys
I have a database with three tables each containing the following fields, AccountNo, CustomerName, Table2003,Table 2004, Table2005. I would like to make a query that will produce the accountnumber, and customername for all customers with the similar balance in table2003,table 2004, and table2005. Right now my query gives me the results for just about every customer with balances in all three years but i specifically want to see...

Thank you Willa, I checked the site but what I actually want to do is to calculate the persons's age based on the computer system's date. So I will enter the person's birthday and access should use the system's date to calculate and display the person's age in years. Am not sure if this is possible but am still reading through some materials. Thanks again....

    Automatic age calculation

    Hello guys,
Thanks for all the help with the last question. I have another one. Does anyone know how to let access automatically calculate age and display in field when the person's date of birth is entered? Is that even possible? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Creating Invoices with a predefined price list

    Hello guys
I have been working on a project now for a while and almost feel like I'm about to jump into shark infested waters with lead tied to my body. I need to create a database for a dental office that will store demographic information and finally produce an invoice. There are already some predefined procedure codes, procedure names and prices. I would like the user when creating a bill for the patient to only enter the procedure...
