    visual basic - dao350.dll missing

I have used a PDW to put my program on a cd. (written in VB6). On some machines, as soon as you try to run the program you get runtime error 91 signifying that a routine is missing (dao350.dll). I have been told that the solution is to change the "connect" property for the data control to Access 2000. On my version of VB this is not possible because selection is via a drop-down list. If I try to force it I get an error ISAM not...

    Programming

I've been told that I would be better off using Alpha Five instead of Visual Basic. Apparently it is easier to use, more flexible and more powerful. Has anyone any experience here? Comments would be most useful.

    runtime error 91

I've written a program in VB6 and given it to a friend. I have supplied him with updates and suddently he gets runtime error 91. I suspect this is something to do with copying a new version via email. I found that if I deleted my data file and tried to run the program, I got runtime error 91. As soon as I restored this data file, the runtime error dissappeared. Maybe this info might be of some use to somebody.

    replied to recently used programs
    Hi Vijay,

I followed your instructions - brilliant! Now when I load visual basic and look in recently used programs, it is not cluttered up with a load of old rubbish.

It took me a short while to find my way around regedit but that's down to my inexperience.

    Thanks again,

    David

    recently used programs

When I open Visual Studio, the list of recently used projects continues to grow. Many of them are redundant and I wish to reduce this list. Anybody know how this can be done?

    deleting database records

If I delete records, then add other ones, the new records are entered in place of the old ones. I want the new records to appear last. For example, say I had records number 1 through 5 and deleted records 2 and 3. Then I add a new record which is number 6. If I read my database and display them, record 6 appears immediately after record 1 instead of appearing after record 5.
