    Guys I tried this connection string and worked

    "Provider=MSDAO RA.1;Data Source="TNS Name";User ID=id;Password= Password;Unicod e=True"

    But i had to install a client oracle at my machine.

      Well thanks, but it did not work :(
      This connection string worked with me too when the database was installed locally, but when it's on other server I should define a TNS name (which I don't know how to do it :) and afterwards.... well i don't know if it will work after that because i did not reach to that point yet :)...

        Well I have a problem with the connection string it self now :)

        I mean with SQL database or with oracle installed on my machine things went smoothly, but I can't find a way to connect to an Oracle database installed on an UNIX Server, so how can I do that?
