    I know one easier way, which is to add a ' to the value, in which it becomes '0001. In Excel, it will then retain all the 0s.

      Hi Michel,

      I am facing the same problem, whereby import Excel.dll to enable a connection to Excel properties. When I tried to declare the following statement in my VB Express 2005, it doesn't seem to recognize with error message as undefined.

      "Dim Excel As New Excel.Applicati on "
