I made a simple application with labels which act as a hyperlink when i clicked it.
On the click event, I wanted it to open the hyper link in any web browser users setted as default.

I coded a vb application which has a picturebox showing images which they were located at /bin/debug folder.....
I use the Getcurrentdirec tory to get the image from there and display on the picturebox.
everything works fine when i debug it, because of the image locate in the same directory of the application.
However when i use the publish funtion in vb 2k5.... it only pubish the codes...Leave a comment:

Hi when I publish my application using the publish wizard in VB 2k5
Everything works fine, but after i run through the installation of the application setup.exe. There's a folder missing which required the application to run the images on.
It is an external folder, when i debug application it runs fine, i guess is somehow when it got publish, it leaves out the image folder.

How do I allocate the application point to an directory folders which are outside where the application executed?
E.g my application execute at /bin/Debug in VB 2005 folder
I wanted it to point to some external folders to display images, x:/project/images/
Do i use the GetDirectory () or GetFiles () in VB 2k5?

The problem is this:
I created my final year project in vb 2005 however all computer in my university didnt have .NET installed even they are Windows XP machines.
Also I need to add is that those machines have access rights, which do not allow users to install anything to them, this is not the problem because my .exe file i got from /Debug/Bin/Myproject.exe do not required any installation. it's a standalone application...Leave a comment:

my idea behind using a clock with ticking second was for the user to know the current time when the program run all will be blackout only the program is visible so i need a clock for my VB project to let users know what time it is....Leave a comment:

Display time in Label with constant update
Hi,
Me to Express vb 2k5
As I could remember there was a funtion in the old VB where simply type "Time" or something then it will show you the real time and second appear on the label.
Is that funtion still available in VB express 2k5, or it had been renamed to something else?
