It works as a solution. I'm just trying to help out the people who enter the data over and over. Scrolling can cause confusion, you lose your place sometimes and it slows you down drastically. I guess I just wish I could put the long datasheet on multiple rows so that it all appears at the same time. I was trying to find something so that I didn't have to go edit a ton of forms so that they would fit.

Actually, I'm using tabs now. I have about 10 different tabs to work with and at least 5 of the datasheets extend beyond usable area. I tried splitting the datasheets up by using multiple queries but then the user would have to save each line separately and i don't think they'd remember to do that...plus it's a hassle. Thanks for the responses. Any other suggestions on how to organize large amounts of data for small screens?

    Datasheets are too long

I have a datasheet within a subform in an Access database. I have to make the forms fairly small so that they can be viewed on laptop screens. I'm trying to get all the different fields to appear on the screen without someone having to scroll over to enter more data. Is there a way to create a datasheet on multiple rows? I guess I'd like to be able to split up a datasheet so that everything can be seen all at once. I know you can make a form...
