Hi all!!
i m requierd to upload data from CSV file to my database. My CSV file is not on the server, it is where the browser is running the ASP page. i can find out the location of my CSV file using " <input type=file" > but further what i need to do , i m unable to find out solution....:(
Plz help, i m new for this technology....

hi All!
i m novice user for ASP, as well as for "thescript forum" so may this Q has already been asked by som1 else.
my problem is:-
can i access client's machine file system on which i m running ASP page (it is not a server machine where IIS is installed)
Actually my requirement is, i want to locate Excel file stored in client machine and want to uplaod those values in database.
