i already have the windows firewall disabled. i had a different program instead and ive already tried removing that but it didnt help... -
It is both my home internet connection, and my unis wireless network that ive noticed it not working on. I think theres an admin for my unis network but i wont be back at uni for a few months as the semester has just finished....Leave a comment:

Thats the weird thing about it. There is no error message. The way i noticed it was when i tried to access the web and it says the server cant be found. It always used to connect, but then one day it just stopped working and i cant figure out why it wont. Theres no actual problem with connecting to the network. It shows me as connected to it, but i cant do anything once im connected.

Connection problems
Recently i have had problems connecting to any kind of network, including wireless network and dialup internet. I am able to detect and connect to the network, but after doing this i cant actually access anything on the network. I dont seem to be getting an IP address assigned to my pc. I have asked some of my friends who know more about computers than me, but they are unable to find the problem.
Any ideas?
