    Append before deleting the record

    I know it is best said to archive records when you press delete button. I need help with this.

    I have a list box where filtered data is showed. The user highlights the record and clicks on delete button to delete the record. This at the minute completely takes off that record. How do i back-up this data so that on clicking delete button it will remove the record from list box but append to other table called tblBackup?

    I am working in Excel 2003

    I have a excel sheet2, which has header.

    I want to copy cell B5 of sheet1 in sheet2 header. How can i do that?

    Will I have to write vba code for this, if so how can i write vba code in sheet2 header?

    I think you should use Access, since you are not dealing with loads of data, Access can well handle it. if you were to use loads of data i would suggest to go for better databases such as Oracle, SQLserver. Although the security is more powerful in SQLserver and Oracle, Access is not bad for limited data management. Access will be able to easily support 15-20 users at a time.
