I have the same problem, but I am using the linked option instead of embedding the PDF files.
It is fine on some PCs in our factory, but others have this self same problem. It only seems to happen of Acrobat Reader V7 & V8.
I have Acrobat Professional on my machine, and cannot simulate this problem as that opens and closes the linked files without any problems.
Any ideas from someone who has got round this problem would be...

Access 2002 / 2003 Function Compatability
Hi Folks,
I've produced an Access application that reads the users login name from their environmental settings and then acquires their full name and department from the "Startup" table, to display on their startup screen (Code shown below).
While this works satisfactorily in Access 2002 on any windows platform, it falls down on Access 2003.
When debugging I get [Run-Time Error "2001" You cancelled... -

Reports on specified data
Hi
I'm working on a database within access the uses 3 database tables. Data from each of these files is required to be printed out automatically.
The problem I have is determining whether the specified data exists in each of the tables, and if it doesn't, then skiping that report. The reports contain an SQL statement that directs the report to print the correct data, but if the correct data is not in one of the tables, then...
