    I have a field that contains both name and author, but sometimes the authorname is in the begin of the field and sometimes at the end. They are seperated by a "-" but in some cases the title or the authorname also contains a "-" so searching on that does not work.

      copy selected part and past in other field

      Is it possible to use VBA to copy a selected part of one field, delete that part and the copy that part in a new field. Like ctrl ins, delete, shift insert. I Tried to use sendkeys but that did not work. Im using office 2016
