I've used Paul Sadowski's CDO email script for some time via a remote SMTP server. It works really well. Up till now I've been adding a .pdf attachment and that's worked well too. Now however, I need to add an Excel file as the attachment and that's produced a problem.
The email is sent and received OK and the Excel file is there as the attachment but it will not open. I get the error message "filexyz.xl s...

I've been asked to produce an XML output from an Access 2003 database. The output has to provide all the field names specified for each record. I can do most of this using aliases in an Access SQL query ... but there are some fields that don't exist in the database. How can I add these (empty) fields other than by manually editing all the records?
