I am sorry but i m still stuck at it. its not working or maybe i dont know how to make it work.
I am trying to put this code "On Got Focus" option.
can you please help in couple of steps. :/
My main form is "Orders" and subform is "Order_deta ils" the field name is "Item".

MainForm to SubForm Focus
hi i am using access 2013,
how can i set Focus to a field in Subform.
so whenever i get into subform through Mainform by pressing Enter or Tab it automatically gets to the ID or field i will select in the focus.
Hope it makes sense :/

Update Query from Form
Hi,
I want to make a form for Update Query to update order dates.
As you know Query update requires:
Criteria = Old Date
Update to: New Date
but i want it to get both old and new dates from a form.
I think, you can get what i want to achieve.

Let me try to explain what i want to achieve:
I would always dispatch orders in the evening before closing.
so
You are a customer and You bought an item in the morning.
so i got your name and date and item (in subform)
(The order is not yet dispatched and its in my record)
Later before dispatch you will get one more item.

Hi,
i need some help here and i m not a vba user but i do use basic macros.
I was to achieve something like this;
field one: ID (Primary key)
Field two; Name
Field three: date
and i got a little subform with these. as some kind of order sheet.
i want it to notify me for Duplicate Name but on a single date. when i enter address in it.
