Laptop Wont turn on
Hiya
My wife was using my laptop (Aspire 6930) where she tried to put a USB stick in the wrong way and she pushed that hard the port snapped off. she carried on using the laptop then shut it down.
When i turn the laptop on now the fan runs for about two seconds but then nothing happens.
I have tried running from a socket without the battery and have changed some parts i.e. RAM, Harddrive and nothings... -

the first thing you should check is if any lights come on when you press the power button
also check if the recharge light comes on when plugged into a wall socket
if the lights come on then go back off again this could indicate a problem with the battery or the FanLeave a comment:

I have done somthing very similar
using your scenario i created two tables the 1st had the fruit and the second had the fruit again in the 1st columns then a dessert in the second.
i then created a form with a combo box that looked at my fruit table
i then created a query that looked at my dessert table and added criteria that looked at my form = [Forms]![Fruit Form]![Combo2]
