I don't know what wrong I was doing but, I wrote a java file that selects data from mysql and inserts it into oracle. I made use of the java.sql.date to convert the date into oracle date format.

Problem: Importing .csv file into oracle database 11g
Hello there,
How do you import a .csv file that contains date field into oracle 11g database?
Other information:
1. Error: Invalid month.
2. I made sure that the date format in the file and the database are the same.
3. Syntactically the file is correct.
4. If the date column were not there, I am able to successfully import.
