[CLOSED] Which collation should I use?
Platform Windows 2000 professional
Using phpMyadmin
Just struggling a little over two issues. On front end page of phpMyadmin I have various information for global settings. I'm not sure what 'MySQL connection collation:' should be set on, currently it is 'utf8 general ci' . Also when I'm building a table I'm not sure what to enter in the 'collation' box, currently it's defaulting to 'latin1_swedish _ci'.... -
I'm o.k with data types and I have got the basics of it all. What I'm stuck on now is what character set and collation to use. Any help is much appreciated. ThanksLeave a comment:

Creating a bookstore database using phpmyadmin
