Batch File & VBS commands

I appreciate your response and input Sir. You have made my night. I will get started on that right now. I have all these books, and I just don't see myself reading all these books in weeks. Hi, I am trying to understand Batch files for logging Text. I have a general understanding, but I am little lost on some of the command strings I keep seeing. I went out and Bought Microsoft Windows Scripting, and Command Line books. I am trying those command lines, and I am getting error messages.
