Good day,
Could anyone advice me how to attach files which would differ from doc, xls, pdf and outlook emails from a MS Access form field on the "On Click" Event to a MySQL Linked table with a Long Blob field and then to open the files again say on the "Double Click" Event.

Thank you for your reply Niheel. I use Microsoft Access 2007 for the forms and write the data to a linked MySQL Database. Im not sure how to incorporate Visual Basic so that I can choose the files I want to store and then save them to a location folder on the server. Any suggestions? -
How to save file to database using external folders
Leave the images themselves in an image folder and store its name in the MySQL table.

MS Access Attachment vs MySQL Blob
Good day, could anyone please assist me in Using a Blop Field in a MS Access form field in basically the same way a attachment field worked. I have a large database with emails attached which I exported to MySQL as Longblob fields. The only field type I can use now to access these fields are OLE Objects.
