File opens as read only from disc
Hi, Probably a simple question, but when I copy an access file to CD, it opens as 'read only' from the disc. How do the people receiving the disc open and use /edit the database? How do they remove the 'read only' thing? Thanks Kerry -
Adding info to multiple records
Another problem I am having... I have 800 employees on my database and need to add a different course to their records every month. Is there a way I can do this without manually going into each record and putting in the course? Please keep it basic as I am not up to the big stuff yet. Thanks heaps! -
Query Help
I need further help with a query...
I have a database which records all employees and what training courses they have attended. I want to run a query to find out who HASN'T done a particular course. I am a very basic query writer. When I type in the course code criteria eg not 278, I end up with everyone who hasn't done that course but all the courses they have done. So, their names sometimes appear 10 times. Hi again, thanks for the reply. I need the query, however, to return all the names of employees who haven't done a particular course. Distinct Query Help?
Hi, I am a intermediate user who has a database of employees and their training history/courses attended.
