iam entering the fields into the database. in select box iam updating the text but it is not displaying when iam come back.

i want to get textbox on the top of the dropdownbox in jsp.
But iam not getting that. can anybody give me the solution. -
select max value from a table in ms access
i want to retraive the max ApplicationID from a table in ms access database.
But iam not getting the maximum ApplicationID. can any body tell me how to write the syntax for getting max value in ms access.
