I need help creating a flash slideshow that's going to be part of a photography website (done in flash) that I am creating for a client. It needs to have thumbnails that the user can navigate through if the user doesn't want to view every image in order.
And one of the most important things I need help with is for the client to be able to change/add/delete... images herself, since the client is a photographer and always has new images...

I have a Flash animation page that runs for about 20 or 30 sec. Once the animation is done playing I want it to automatically go to the home page of my website. Is there some code that I can use to accomplish this?

Masking
I need help with masking an image in Flash (8). I have an outline of a seashell image (black and white). It's a jpg image that I inserted into Flash. What I want is for the image to appear one line at a time, and in the end the whole image will become visible. It's like someone drawing an image in front of you and you're trying to figure out what it is they're drawing. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

For example: a person is working on the computer at their office and a little pop up window comes up with a message "You've got mail" and the person now knows that they need to check their inbox (whoever sent the email might want to schedule an appointment at that office). So instead of checking the email every 10 minutes I want this little box to come up and alert the user to check their email. I don't know if their email needs to be open... -
How to create pop-up window "You've got mail"
I was wondering if anybody knows how to get a script to do the following: when the user receives a new email into their inbox I want a small window to pop-up from the bottom right corner of the screen telling them that they have a new email, "You've got mail."

You mentioned that I can have the html document itself password protected, and not use javascript. How would I go about doing that? Is it complex?
