I need to convert a string to a unique integer value .Can some one help me with this..
Eg: "1A" Or "A1" the value generated for both this strings should not be the same..
Can some one ols help me out with this its really urgent..

SPI device Driver
I am currently writin an application for the spi device driver.After i use the driver once if i try to reload my buffer with other value ,it is not working properly.the driver does not support a circular buffer. If i close the device driver after each complete operation and then open it again it is working fine.
Can anyone tell me whats the problem? -

I am trying to interface sd card to my processor in spi mode .i am following the same protocol given in the data sheets.but i am not able to initialise the card itself.if any one has done it pls give me your code for refrence.
