I tried different methods to grant write permission to the folder through IIS but the files are not saved to the webserver directory yet. I don't know if anyone can tell me if there could be the problem with the hosting company which in my case is a free asp.net webhosting company. I am not sure if the code would work great in another premium webhosting company.

I have a question regarding fileupload in asp.net. I made a simple website which works fine with uploading files to my local server, but when I published and tried to upload files to my webserver I don't see any file uploaded there. I heard something about granting users authenticity but I don't get how this works.
