      Hi all,

      I want to export 1 big excel workbook containing 200 Sheets in it, and is classified according to Class. Each sheet name is unique according to the class.
      I am building a package to export data from excel sheet to SQL table. I want to export whole Excel workbook in one table of SQL.

        SSIS and SQL

        Hi all...I have one task to import data from Excel workbook to SQL using SSIS.
        Problem:
        There are 200 sheets in an Excel Workbook. I have to import all the sheets and put them in one table in SQL 2005.
        I am doing is..I have created a package to start loading data from 1st sheet....
        In every sheet there are 5 top rows which I do not want to include in SQL table....

          Can you please explain me How to set up permissions for main (C) Server so that it reads file system data on Manager's computer....
          I searched online and it says SQL Services should have permission to access that data...then only SQL Server will have access.....
          Can you tell me how to set up SQL Services?...

            Load data from File System to Remote SQL Server but getting error

            There are three computers A,B and C

            A is Manager' computer in which Data is stored as File System
            B is my desktop having SQL Server 2005
            C is Main SQL Server 2005.
            B is able to connect to C. But When I run query on C, I get error.

            The query runs but Files are not getting loaded.
            It simply says File not Found.

            Can anyone have idea about this.

                I am having difficulty here. Our company has website already built few years back. Now they want me to add one tab (webpage) i guess to their existing website and link SQL database to that with login information.

                People who build website earlier used PHP and MySQL.....Is it possible for me to use .NET?

                Is this possible? As I am new to website part?..

                And I want to build it using VB.NET.......

                        I have one more qs. In SQL Database there are plenty of multiple files for Images,pdfs,doc ,txt,excel..... Will it be OK to update delete or download or modify data through Crystal report (front end i guess)....

                        And one more thing my company dont want to spend more money on software...they have provided me with Visual Studio....But I am new to .NET also...Is there anything you can tell me more about the...

                          I want to create a web interface or Front End for company so that they can edit DB

                          Hi all..

                          I am a newbie to SQL Server. I have built a database in SQL 2005. Now few items are remaining to store in the database. But my company is asking me to build WebInterface so that they can edit, delete, update, download files etc.

                          Is Reporting Service is used for this purpose? Or Can anyone give me brief idea of How to and Where to start?....I am in a trouble...THank you in advance
