Solution

The problem was that I had DirectX SDK 2007 installed which is not compatible with VS 2010. I installed a newer version and all is fine. Thank you for your help nevertheless.

I am currently trying to learn some directX programming and thus I am following this tutorial I found. After completing the first stage I should be able to get a blue window when I run the program, but instead I get no less then 103 Errors.
