    one solution

    Well, as I said, I'm cleaning up a machine previously used on an enterprise network. It used to have McAfee on it, I uninstalled it... HOWEVER, McAfee lied and did not really uninstall, but it no longer showed up in the program list. I tried the consumer uninstall tool to see what happened:

    and it told me I still had an Enterprise version...

      problem is mentioned as BINARY files

      I'm currently cleaning up a machine previously setup with CCM (a MS system management package for networked computers) that still does not allow downloading binary files. My current workaround is to download using "SAVE AS" AND rename the extension to .XXX or such AND set the type to "All files". I then rename the file to ".exe" and also have to "unblock"...
