Error 1053 with subversion and windows XP service

I am trying to set up a subversion and windows service, but I keep on getting an 1053 error (along the line of "cannot start the service in a timely fashion").

I have tried the approaches on the net, but I get the same error, regardless of all my efforts.
Below are the approaches that I took:

    I have tried:
sc create snservice binpath= "C:\Program Files\subversio n\bin\svnserve. exe --service --root...

    MS Word and VB Webservices

    Good day all,

I currently have a VB Webservice that opens, edits and saves an MS Word 2003 document via impersonation (my code is below, for those searching for impersonation techniques).

Everything works fine, what I would like to know is if there is a better way of manipulating an MS Word 2003 document without using impersonation? Due to security reasons, I am hoping to find a better way of approaching this.

It's too much hassle for the people using it (Pensioners are going to use it).

I know what I want to be done, the thing is, I don't know how to call it, i.e., I know the code to get it done, but I don't know how to catch the print event.

    Print event of Microsoft Outlook

    Good day,

I was wondering if there is a way to catch the print event of Microsoft Outlook, or some way to write macros to run an event before printing an email.

The reason for this is, it seems that one can't get rid of the to, from, cc, etc. heading of an email when one needs to print (some versions of outlook can do this, others can't), and some of the emails that are going to be printed has to be in a letter format...

  • Redistribution rights of interop assemblies

I have developed an application that creates Excel and Word documents, hence, Interop.Word.dl l and Interop.Excell. dl asre being included into the installation package.

May I redistribute these dll's with my application package?
And how does the Developers Licenses work?

I live in SA and have heard that the redistribution rights may be different.

The error and location where it occurs has been given.

I have given a broad explanation of where is occurs, because it won't be clear if the explanation is simple.

    The error is :
    HRESULT 0x80040154 (REGDB_E_CLASSN OTREG)

The exact code part(s) is given in example A and B.

    Class not registered

    Good day,

I know there are numerous questions about the HRESULT 0x80040154 (REGDB_E_CLASSN OTREG) error, and I have seen all (maybe most) of the solutions, but none of those are of any help, I downloaded all the possible apps that have been suggested but none of those work.

I am using Visual Basic 2005, XP and Office 2003 ( I prefer to use this combination), I am also using the following dll's:
    - Interop.Word...

    replied to Making a DLL?
go to your command prompt, and enter the following : (everything is on one line)

    C:\WINDOWS\Micr osoft.NET\Frame work\v1.1.4322\ vbc.
    exe /t:library "filename"

where filename is the full directory of the file of which you want to make a dll, it also have to be between " ", the dll will be created in the directory where where the file is.

    Hope this helps.

  • Hi there,

Whenever you password protect a zip file (doesn't matter the method), whenever you open up the zip file, it won't prompt you for a password (unlike with any other password protected file), but when you unzip or try to open a file in the zip file, it will prompt you for a password.

    Hope this is helpful,
    Kind Regards

    Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES

I a working in Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES, and I am quite new to it. I have a couple of questions that I want to ask.

If somebody know of a good source or a good source of coded examples, then that would be just as greatle appreciated.

    1) Is it possible to dynamically create a Captcha image when the PDF is loaded? And how can you compare the word typed into an textbox with the word in the image? (The word will be stored...
