The users are on Active Directory. I have the default share on the D$ with everyone all access and then I have the subfolder under D:\Sales\ which I have given this particular user has read/write/execute permission. Another user also at the same branch only need read access but neither can access the folder or the files in that directory.

I have moved data from an old server (Win 2000) to a new server Win 2003 R2 Enterprise Edition. My local users can access the shared folder no hassle. My problem is my branch offices which is on a different subnet (192.168.52.xxx ) I have given them all the necessary access to that folder, they are in the Power user group.
