    divide substring

    hi
    i have long text of around 1000 words i want this text to divide in two text . and i want to pick first text from 5th (.) dot coming in the text. how can i do this i know the use of substring and also split function in asp.net . but problum is that how can i pick from 5th(.) dot coming in the text please help me thanks in advance.

      hi,
      i want help for-- like
      responce.redire ct("default.asp x?test=one");
      query string . on redirect page address bar we have value like http:// default.aspx?te st=one

      is there any way we can hide the default.aspx and on address bar we just have test=one is ther any way to this.

                          i want to build a graph in asp.net using c# in which i want a xy axis graph and this graph is chande according with entering a numeric value like if i enter 8 then variation in x and y axis is change according to this please help me i am totally laymen in this.also i want to do this without using third party tool
