  • How to calculate time difference (minutes) between two military times?

On my form, I have 3 fields: StartTime (milliary time 00:00), EndTime (milliary time 00:00) and Mintues (number). I would like to place a control calcuation statement in the Field Properties/Control Source and the field Minutes will populate automatically after user enter StartTime and EndTime. I know how to do this for Date, but not for time.

    thanks,

How to remove decimals from results

I have this code to calcuate the percent:
    %Sale: IIf([n]=0,"demoniator is 0",Format([#Sale]/[n],"Percent"))

This code works well, but the result of the percentage is 2 decimal (like 59.69%). How can I eliminate the decimal to 0 or 1 (like 59.7%). I tried to just calcuate the rate as RateSale: (#Sale]/[n]), then select format as percent with 1 decimal number in the report template. But when n= 0, it shows...

I know, I would prefer the same way. That was how I programed the button in the first place; Once the user click on cancel, the form just close itself. However, my users have requested to add a code with the Y or N option because they said that sometimes they hit cancel button by mistake.

Thanks for the advice, i thought I could just use the command acSaveNo, then I do not need to use command acCmdUndo. I've placed the undo command back and it worked.
    thanks!

I've tried this code, and it worked well with the No, but did not work for the Yes. I made some updates to the record, then click on Cancel, then choose yes, but the form still keep the updates even though I've assigned the form to be 'acSaveNo'

    Code:
    Dim db As Database
        Dim frm As Form
        Set db = CurrentDb
        Set frm = Forms!frmReview
        Dim intCancel As Integer

    intCancel = MsgBox("Cancel?

    Hi,
I tried the code, but it doesn't seem to work properly as well. it worked the first round, but second clicks do not perform the way I want.
In addition, the No part seems to be wrong because even though I select No, the updates that I've made to the records did not stay.

    thanks!

    Unsafe expression security message

My database is built on MS Access 2009 and when I click on the database, it prompted the security warning message: "Security Warning Unsafe Expressions are not blocked. Do you want to block unsafe expression? Answer options: Yes, No, Help". If I click on No, the next time when I open the database, this message would show up again. If I click Yes, then this message won't show up again. My question is if I click Yes, would it affect my database...

    Hi all,
I have this querry, when I run the query, it makes the table name "tmaCustome r", but I would like to set the field "TotalCompliant " as Text, instead of Number, any idea?
When the table has created after running the query, the field "TotalCompliant " was automatically set to "Number".

Yes, I did. I did put the lstPtAccount list box. I also set the multi selection to No and it did not work.
My form is like this, when a user select a cutomer ID from the cboCustomer, it will show all the accounts in the listbox under the selected customer. So eveytime the user selects a new customerID from the customer combo box, it requery the listbox. Would this make the listbox to be "NotNull" all the time since the user might...
