  • Generating wsdl from java using the formal parameter names in my methods

    Hi,

    I am using axis jars to convert my java classes into wsdl for API purpose. I notice that, instead of generating the parameter names same as what my method accepts, I am getting it as param0,param1 etc.. here is an examle

    Code:
    <xs:sequence>
    <xs:element minOccurs="0" name="param0" nillable="true" type="xs:string"/>
    <xs:element minOccurs="0"

    This seemed to have worked.

    Code:
     $servicename = 'net start "Apache Tomcat Server"';
    system("$servicename");
    Thanks for all your suggestions. Really Appreciate it.

    Hi,

    I have tried your suggestions. The

    Code:
      system(`net start Apache Tomcat Server`);

    does not work either. What intrigues me is that , Win32::Service: :StartService is supposed to be used for windows right.. And yes I also tried using localhost as the cumputer name.Thanks for your suggestions though.

    Starting and stopping service

    Hi Perl Experts,

    Is there any inbuilt sys functions which can start and stop a tomcat service in a given machine. I need to stop the service, copy a .war file into webapps folder and start the tomcat service. I can see that we have StartService(ho stName, serviceName) and StopService(hos tName, serviceName) which can be used. But when i try using it in a windows machine, i am getting errors saying unrecognized command. Can someone help...

    JSP page load error.

    I have a peculiar error while trying to load a JSP page which is having scrptlets and JS also in them. When i hit the page on tomcat server half the DB entries are displayed whereas other half is absent. I can see while debugging that all the data is preset. Then why was it not displaying right in the UI? Even if it was some tag closure or mismatch probelm, why are half the data getting displayed correct? And one more peculiar thing is that it does...

    Yes exactly. I have backed up a copy all 10 files. Out of the present 10 files two files are modified and then I am including the backed up data into them. But currently even for the files which are not modified, the back up is getting added. What i want it only for the two files to have New+back up data. The other files have to be left alone.

    Cool this seems to be working just fine!. Now I have to concatenate these .properties file with the current properties file and place it in the source itself. Because the current .properties file will be modified as the next step. So I have to write another perl file which simply appends the details in the test folder to the details in the source folder .properties. How do I proceed with it. I have too iterate through the files and do some concatenate...

    I have written two scripts:
    Code:
       #!perl

        use strict;
        use warnings;
        use File::Find;
        use File::Copy;

        # change these assignments as needed
        my $srcdir = 'C:/Documents and Settings/tdrozario/Desktop';
        my $destdir = 'C:/test/';

        finddepth(\&wanted, $srcdir);

        sub wanted {
             return if -d;
