1)in which data type should i give for enter the time
in the table.eg:hr:min
2)suppose my table date processtime (hrs:min)
1/7/08 5:50
2/7/08 6:10
3/7/08 10:10
i want to sum processtime field only and show the result
in hrs:min.i.e total...

how to enter only time in the field of table and sum the time
hi all can anybody help how write a query to get result if total hr exceed more than 24hrs.
I created a table having field name date,processdow ntime as field name and
want to enter data in date field as date for 30days,10:20(hr s:min),12:10(hr s:min)
etc for 30days and finally on 30day i want sum and get the answer total hrs:min
