I am given a project work in my college..i.e. to operate an external device which captures images, for which i have to send the signals to the modem connected to the ports.

so what i want is how to send or write the signals through java programing to the ports that can be either USB ports.And i even want to know what is the best approach of writing the code for it,either i make use of javacomm package(this...

can any one give the detailed study for "Runtime" class present in java.lang

package.I hv read it in the book called the complete reference but i am unable to

understand properly.if possible give some example programs and the usage of

that particular class..

Iam very much new to the flash concepts but i hv got a very good background

with programming languages like c\c++,java and now iam interested to learn flash.

so can any one suggest me how to grab the concepts of flash and have a sound

knowledge on it.....and i would be more happy if u suggest me which book should i follow.....
