I tried replacing ` character with its value &#96, but now when i set that value thru MSHTML , & is being encoded in & and rest of #96 remains as it is.
I have given MSHTML library reference in my VB application and using its functions to set the values to the fields.

I am rendering HTML file using MSHTML library reference visual basic 6.0. I am setting values for input box using value property. My problem is, if the value has starting char. " ` "(acute / greve accent , key right above the Tab key) and has only single word, IE is invalidating the whole element and displays it as a text.
