I have a USB flash drive. I have made it bootable. I then boot to a command line, which I can connect to a server using NETBEUI protocol. I have access to the network shares and can map drives from a command line. I can use ghost from the command line, which is really not relevant. I just want to know how to make the TCP/IP protocol bind to my network card, so that I can take NETBEUI off my computer.... -
Currently I am connecting to my workstation in DOS. NETBEUI binds to the card and I can use the "net use" command to map a drive to my workstation. I then use ghost to image that workstation to my workstation. I need to know which files are needed to be modified to allow TCP/IP to bind to the Intel 82566DM-2 network card in my Optiplex GX755. In addition to the files needed to be changed I also don't know what to add to those files to allow...Leave a comment:

TCP/IP DOS connection
I have a Dell Optiplex GX755, with a Intel 82566DM-2 Gigabit. I am trying to connect to a network share to ghost a image. I currently can connect using DOS with NETBEUI. This works great, however I am using my workstation to save images. I don't want to install NETBEUI on the server where I want to save the images in the long term. Was wondering anyone can help with this?
Thanks in advance.
Eric
