    Adding multiple totals

This is so frustrating becuase i know this has a simple solution, but i just cant get it to work!

Basically i have several subforms on a page (continuous forms) and they all have a simple sum function in a text box. sum=([quantity]).

I now want to add all the totals and display them on the page in a text box.

I've been trying to use the expression bulider but i cant get it to work.

Change colour of text, based on combo box selection

i have a combo box (combo box 1) in a form header that users use to selct item numbers from.
I also have a combo box (combo box 2) that users use to select a priority number (1,2,3) for that item. This is then stored on the items record.

I was wondering if the item has a priority 1 in combo box 2, then it could display the text in combo box 1 as red (or posibly the background, or something to make it stand out).

    Filter Information via combo box

How do you get a combo box to filter the information a user can select in another combo box.

Basically i have a orders form where users select a location from a combo box. i then have a second combo box to select the sub location.

I want the user's selection in the first combo box to then only display the sub locations for that location in the second combo box.

I know there is a simple way of doing this...

Cheers for the quick response ADezii.

I've been trying to get that code to work but unfortunatly i'm not very good when it comes to visual basic and i haven't been successful yet.

Can you give me step by step instructions, or is their another way of doing it e.g. expression builder or a query

P.S. forgive me if i sound stupid, but i am!...

    Count IF on MS Access

How do you create a field on a form that counts the selected records, only if a certain word is in the field.

Records are selected via a combo box on a form header.
I then have tabs below that display different subforms.(One of the tabs is orders)

Basically i have combo box on the orders form that lists all posible locations for a particular item e.g.
    "location 1 - sub location 1"
    "location...
