What type of CPU should I get?
Hi all i am building a pc and need to know what type of cpu to get -
I use a program called virtual box that lets me have any number of gust os on top of my host the site to get virtual box ishttp://virtualbox.org/ and then just down load it and make a virtual pc then load your os and your good to go. -

i got a computer given to me that had virus and well it wont in to windoes so i put my linux disk and it locks up is there any way to delete windoes so i get delete the virus and put linux on it I was thinking boot to dos make it a slave drive and format it that way -

pop but no pop3
i just mounted ubuntu and I set up Email on it. i can send mail just fine but i cat receive it it even tells me when i get new mail but i cat see the the only thing my isp says it needs a pop3 and the only option i get is a pop is any one else think that is the problem if so then how should i fix it my isp also said i could change my port to 110 but i have no clue what that even is.
