  • Problem with a Chart's Data Table Displaying Data

    I have created several bar charts in MS Access using query results to provide the data for the chart. I added data tables to the charts to show the actual values. My problem is that one of the fields in the data table continues to display a number with several decimal places showing (i.e., 7.120000054). The query field that provides the number displays the number with 1 decimal place (i.e., 7.1), which is what I'm trying to get the data table to...

    Hello.

    I have a table in an Access 2003 database, tblDataDump, that accepts data imported from an Excel spreadsheet. The data is processed through a make table query that performs some simple modifications for further use. One of the fields, CostCenter, is imported into tblDataDump as a text field, and I need it converted to a number. Is there a method for automating a data type change through either a query, macro, etc, or VBA?...
