Loading Excel File into Oracle Table

    Hi,

I need to create a script [preferably Unix+sqlldr] to load Excel file into oracle tables. Please help if you have worked on anything like this. I have been doing this converting Excel to CSV manually and then running the script(sqlloade r). Is there a script which can automate this process.

    Thanks
    Ravi

    TOADS Explain plan

    Hi,

I want the explain plan. But when I clicked on the explain plan it says ORA-02404: specified plan table not found. I investigated on net and some books. I was asked to load the utlxplan.sql. I did that but of no use. I also changed the name of the plan table in TOAD, still no use. New thing I heard recently is to run TOADPREP.SQL. But this script is not available on our server($ORACLE_ HOME/rdbms/admin). Can someone please suggest...

Thanks, but the server which I want to connect doesnt appear in the available servers list. I wonder, if I have enough data regarding that server. I know the server name, IP address. Are these parameters enough, or additional what information I need. Further, what needs to be done to appear our target server name in the available servers list. Sorry, but I am very much confused.

    Thanks....
