Now I Want To Display The Result Of Query In A Textbox
How This Will Be Done .and Where I Will Write The Query And Where I Will Call That Query

What i said is when i choose same date in both dtpicker in criteria form the
report shows nothing no recored.
But when the dates in report are not same then it show all data
even ,not that recored which is store between the spcifeid dates.
for example when i choose dates like 24-1-08 and 24-1-08
then report sows nothing.
And when i choose 23-1-08 and 25-1-08 now report...Leave a comment:

I change date field to udate as you said
but still it not working .

the report displyas nothing it remain blanck. while both values not same .then i shows all data which i store in table.ie 24-1-08 and 25-1-08
or 23-1-08 and 25-1-08 etc

Access data entry problem
I am using Access
I made a Database in which i define a field in table id as Auto increment field.
I im using switchboard manager to open the form in dataentry mode.
When i open form and just type some thing in other field not save it and close the form with out saving .
When i open again the form the Auto increment field is incremented.and there is no other data in other fields they are blanck.

and two command button
open button is used to open the report according to dates pick by user
i made a macro to open the report
and in where clause i use the following ccommand
date between [forms]![formname]![datpicker0] and [forms]![formname]![datpicker1] and i place two... -

I have made a database in MsAccess
I am using a report criteria form in which there are two dtpickers and two command buttons one for ok and one for closing
i want when i click the ok command button it show me the report according the dates in Dtpickers.What will be the coding of doing this.

Now i use data connection to connect Access database
and Add two commands
One command is based on SQL Query
select max(input no) +1 from mytable
I bind this command to textbox Now it show me the next inputno
And the second command is use d for the table other fields
the point is all the fields is of the same table including inputno ,but using two commands .

Auto number problem
I have builed a database in access and using forms of Visual Basic6
The problem is this
I have a field Id which is of type long and autoincrement
Now when i create a form and run and type my frist entry in id field like 1
it give me the message field is not updateble.
Plese tell me what the problem is this and how i can over come this problem.
and how it will show ID field first auto number automatically.... -
