    Hi frnds,

    I have written a code to get current time

    struct tm *locTime;
    time_t currentTime;
    time( &currentTime );
    locTime = localtime(&curr entTime );

    Suppose now i get output time as 31-DEC-2007 00:00:00

    What i want now is i want two strings where in one string i want to subtract time to 2 hours that is one string should have value as 30-DEC-2007 22:00:00...

    I have a problem with csv file gen.

    Here is the description:

    My code genereates a csv file as output in which a particular column("OUTPUT NUMBER")contain s a string value fetched from db.

    Now the problem is when i open this csv file the OUTPUT NUMBER column misses the zero("0") digit for example suppose the column has 3 values 01,02,12 then when the file is opened this column will show...

    I want to know is there a way by which we can know that a C++ executable has finished its job in shell script.

    My task is as follows:

    1.Shell script calls a executable

    2.Executable executes and performs its job of generating some reports.

    Now i want my shell script to detect this that is C++ executable has completed its job so that shell script can send the reports...

    Ya that should should be fine can u please help me on this
    And i wanted one more info is there any way in unix shell scripting where in i call this executable and after the end of the execution of this executable the same shell script triggers off a mail with the files genereated by the executable as attachement.

    Hi Frnds,

    I have a task in my project wherein i have to send out a mail from my C++ code.With some file attachements.Pl ease help me in this.

    At a higher level wat i can tell is my code generated 3 csv file and i have to send these files as attachement.

    My code is executed in unix server.So please suggest me how to do this.

    If possible also please tell me how to do this in windows also....
