Ok, I've already got the multi select property in the list box so I can select more than one name, but I'm lost on how to actually store this information in a new record for whatever date I put in. I'd like the list box to show all names but in the current record I'd like only the names that I selected to show up. From this I'd like to have a button that would print a report containing that information....Leave a comment:

Save records from a list box to a separate table?
Let's see if I can accurately describe my problem without confusing myself...
I've got a table of names that are populated by a separate form.
I want to use the names in that table to populate a list box on another form but I'd like to be able to select multiple people from this list and store those selected names in a different table, which will be used by a query to make a report. What is the easiest way to accomplish this... -
Combo Box in a Query Criteria Box
Is there any way to make a criteria box in a query a combo box? I've got a query that shows all information on an individual and right now I've got the expression [Type Last Name Here] in the criteria box, but what I want is to have a combo box that I can choose the individual from rather than having to type the name in. Possible or am I dreaming? -
I've got the table made already but when I select an individual in the list box and go to the next record, the selectees disappear and don't save in the table. I'd also like to see all of the selections show up in the report, not just the bound column. Any way to make that happen? The way it shows up now is rank, last name, first name. In the table the name field is a lookup list box but it only stores the rank since it's the first field, even though...Leave a comment:

I've got this all done and it works great, except it doesn't store the names that I select in the list box in each record. I'd like it to be a historical file for each date to keep and be able to print the report if I need to. Hope I'm not being too difficult!...Leave a comment:

And that would be accomplished how? Sorry, never heard of it. Is it possible in Access 2003?...Leave a comment:

Enabling a combo box if it contains a value from a separate table.
I've got a form [OfficerSNCOName s] that adds the names of personnel of certain rank to a table. I'm trying to create a form for a certain occassion that has multiple selections from the values entered into that table[OfficerSNCOName s] showing who from that table attended. I've got 15 combo boxes that show the names in the table but don't want all 15 to be enabled if only, say 3 people, show up. I can use the .enabled function with a true/false value... -
Seems so easy... never even thought of that! Thanks for the quick reply.

Showing a multiple value query in a report
Here goes nothing...
I'm trying to make a report that shows what guys work on what crew, ie. day crew or night crew. For this selection I've got a form with a combo box with either a "D" or "N" where the data is stored in the same table. I'd like the guys on day crew to show up on the left side of my report and the guys on night crew to show up on the right side. Seems simple, I know. The tricky part is I want them... -
Worked great! Thanks again for all the help. I'm sure it was rather obvious, but a huge help to a beginner!Leave a comment:

The password is stored in a table and not associated with a certain user. It's just a simple password that will allow me to access the form in order to edit the records. The input mask is just so no one can see what's entered and there is no need to limit the number of attempts. All I'd like is that when the password is entered correctly the command button, when clicked, will verify the password and if it's correct open the form. It sounds simple...Leave a comment:

That's what I figured, now comes the next question... I have created a popup form (with the text field input mask set to password) and I have two command buttons on it. One cancels and closes the form and I want the other one to verify that the password is correct, opening the administrator form. I know I need to write the code but can't figure it out. Any ideas? I'm sure it's simple, I'm just new. Thanks!...Leave a comment:
