I have tried when expression is...

Ticking checkboxes using to and from textboxes...?
Hi guys hope you can help me with this one...
I have a form with 24 tick boxes, 1 for each hour of the day.
I want to check the boxes if a certain product is being made within one of those hours. I have created to and from textboxs formatted as 'short time' and would like a command button to be pressed once the times are filled in and auto tick the correct boxes....ANY IDEAS?

Its ok I have sorted it now, thank you for your response anyway.
I put two textboxes in the footer and made them invisible... these had the data source
andCode:=IIf (RptCostcardWagesSub.Report.HasData=True,RptCostcardWagesSub.Report!WagesSubtotal,0)
I then changed the data source of my...Code:=IIf(RptCostcardWagesSub.Report.HasData=True,RptCostcardWagesSub.Report!OutsourceSubtotal,0)

Still show subform in report when no values are in it
Hi guys hope you can help,
I have a report which is made up of 2 subforms next to each other. These both relate to the 'job number' that is selected on a form prior to opening the report.
If there has been values entered for that job number in both subforms previously, then everything works fine. If however, 1 has had values entered for that job number but the other hasn't it only shows the 1 that has on the report.... -
Refreshing a form on select of a combo box..?
Hi guys, hope someone can help me out here.
It's probably something really simple but i am struggling...
I have a form where the user has to enter a job number from a combo box. If they type a combo number that isn't in the list, I have used not in list to open the job form in data entry mode where they can enter the new job. When it has been saved and closed the other form remains open...

Summing values in a form inc NULL VALUES?
Hi guys hope you can help
I have a text box for each day of the week in a form and numbers are entered into them (but sometimes they need to be left blank i.e. not 0). I am summing these values for a total in the footer and get an error (it works if there is a number in each txt box but I some need to be left blank)....
I have tried the control source of the total in the footer to be...
=Sum([StdMon]+[StdTue]+[StdWed]+[StdThu]+[StdFri]+[StdSat]+[StdSun])... -
Converting dates
Hi guys
I have a report which auto groups my daily results into weeks by week number:
=Format$([OrderDate],"ww",0,0)
...Any ideas how I can introduce a column that would state 'Week Commencing Date' for each week???
Thanks in advance, OllyJ -
Making a control within 1 record of a continuous form invisible
Hi guys hope you can help...
...do you have any idea how you can set a control's (within a single record in a continuous form) property to visible=false depending on the outcome of an update within the same record.
i.e. I have a work category combo box within a subcontinuous form... when you update the category to 'absent', I want to make the 'Job Number' control in that record invisible as it is no longer relevant...... -
Sorry, probably my explanation, i'll have another go...
I have successfully implemented a method which allows me to highlight the current record within a continuous form when it is selected.
*** My problem is that the user needs to be able to click anywhere on any record to highlight it (make current), as I have all controls disabled (so they cannot be edited nor the cursor shown), it doesn't allow me to do this?...Leave a comment:

Thanks for your help so far guys...
I have applied conditional formatting to the textbox and the colours changed as desired. However, despite setting the properties of the textbox to enabled=false and locked=true, when running the form and clicking the mouse on the textbox it allows a text cursor to be placed inside... although it won't let you edit the text, it still causes a problem as it blocks out all of the textboxes in front...Leave a comment:

Don't want to start an argument! haha! Thanks again NeoPa for the help!
By the way, I have just added a new post re: the changing colour of a box depending on the specific result within a continuous form. I have been on it for a while ( ...don't want you lot to think I come across a problem and post it straight away!)
If you can help great, if not don't worry.Leave a comment:

Change colour of box within record of continuous form...
Hi guys,
I have a continuous form and one field is Day / Night, where a 'D' or 'N' is contained to represent each.
Is it possible to write code for the 'on current' of the form to ensure a box contained within the specific record is one colour for those records with 'D' and another for those with 'N'?
I used for...each...ne xt statement from the help and adapted it to suit my form, but it changed the colour... -
...got it! Thanks again for your help NeoPa!
I had to change the original query code to:
((Tbl_Schedule. Machine)=Forms! Frm_Schedule!Co mboMachine Or Forms!Frm_Sched ule!ComboMachin e='(All)') instead of IS NULL
and then 'on load' set each combo by using:
me.combomachine = "(All)"
..works perfectly!Leave a comment:

Thank you for your help NeoPa, having entered your revised code, it gives me the option to select 'All' from the combobox, however...
...it then limits the subform to no results. I think this has to do with my original underlying query containing the code:
((Tbl_Schedule. Machine)=Forms! Frm_Schedule!Co mboMachine Or Forms!Frm_Sched ule!ComboMachin e IS NULL)
I have the feeling I need to change is null to...Leave a comment:

Specifics really if you don't mind...
Here is some information that might help: (if you need me to attach a file get back to me and i'll get it right over)
Qry_Schedule is the underlying recordsouce for a continuous subform within the details section of 'Frm_Schedule' and all of the Combos shown in code below are effectively "limiters" within the header of 'Frm_Schedule'. The limiters have code 'after update'...Leave a comment:

Thank you for your timely response!
Sorry to be a pain but if you could explain the code required for a union query (never used one before), that would be great.
I can then always resort back to the null value if my coding gets too complicated.
Many thanks, OllyJLeave a comment:

'Show all results' row within combo possible?
Hi guys, have searched for this but can't find an answer...
I have a number of combo boxes that limit a continuous subform in the header of the main form.
Currently, if they are blank, all results are shown due to the following code in my underlying query:
((Tbl_Schedule. Machine)=Forms! Frm_Schedule!Co mboMachine Or Forms!Frm_Sched ule!ComboMachin e Is Null)
Is there any way of having a 'show...
