    I've installed phpmyadmin 2.11.3 and setup the login fine - I get the following messages:

    Your PHP MySQL (client) library version 3.23.49 differs from your MySQL server version 5.0.41. This may cause unpredictable behavior.

    The mbstring PHP extension was not found and you seem to be using a multibyte charset. Without the mbstring extension phpMyAdmin is unable to split strings correctly and it may result...

      in .NET
      that sounds fine but the mem id you swipe in can be invalid i.e. not in the db or could be at any row position in the table

        Hi

        I have a form bounded to a db table in vb.net which works fine - I have added a barcode swipe which reads in the mem id - I want to load up a row corresponding to that mem id from the db once I've swiped - how do I do this?
